In 2006 we will arrange a calendar of events that you will be invited to attend. For example, these events will include trips to Wigan Little Theatre, a trip to the Lowry Museum at the Lowry Centre in Salford, warden-led “Wildlife Walks” around Worthington Lakes, Pennington Flash and the Three Sisters and a “Have a Go at Golfing” morning at Haigh Hall’s municipal golf course. We also invite speakers to the groups such as healthy living specialists, advice and guidance advisors and council representatives. Your ideas and suggestions for trips and speakers are warmly invited. When dates for the events are confirmed, your tutor will give you the information. Dates will also be made available on the website.
