A wide range of people are Wonder Wonders learners. People attend our sessions for a variety of reasons from many different backgrounds reflecting the community at large. We have learners who: - Aim to return to work
- Aim to help their children/grandchildren with their learning
- “brush up” their own skills for a variety of reasons
- Have a wide range of disabilities
- Want to acquire qualifications for a variety of reasons
- Are retired from work
- Come from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds
- Are overcoming health problems
- Are aiming for further and higher education
- Wish to progress within their place of employment
- Are aged from 18+ - infinity!!
Learners’ Service Policy As a valued learner of Working Wonders, we aim to provide you with a service that meets your needs. Our Learners’ Service Policy and the quality standards covered in this guide aim to assure you of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of service. We will: - Treat you courteously at all times and be accessible. Our office is open 9.00am – 5.00pm and outside of office hours Joyce can be contacted on (01942) 323589.
- Provide all learners with a Learner’s Handbook and be available to discuss/clarify/explain the contents, if required.
- Provide all learners with a Working Wonders’ “Starter Pack” consisting of a minimum of: a blue manila document wallet printed with a Working Wonders’ logo, a pad of A4 paper and a pen.
- Work to ensure that our teaching rooms are set up and as well equipped as possible in order to meet your needs.
- Work to ensure that the learning environment is as visually stimulating as possible.
- Wear a name badge.
- Wear a uniform – where appropriate. Crèche workers only will wear a uniform in order that they can be identified with ease.
- Listen to your comments, suggestions and complaints and follow the procedures and timescales set out in our complaints policy.
- Treat all our learners fairly and with respect and comply with
- our Equality and Diversity Policy and Disability Statement.
- Work to ensure that we meet all legal requirements with respect to Health and Safety standards.
