Some of our learners entered a competition to submit entries for the Sunflower Project Book, which was open to learners from Marsh Green and Norley Hall. Here is an entry from S Smith entitled "Four LIttle Kids"...
Four Little Kids

This story is about my mum and dad. They were happy, hardworking people and they enjoyed bring us four kids up. They took us out on trips sometimes with the British Legion. Mum and Dad were strict with us but when we went out they had lots of fun with us. We always took sandwiches for tea as my dad always used to say, “I ain’t payin’ them prices for dinner an’ tea.” We went by train with Mum and Dad’s friends and family. It was very enjoyable. Us four little kids had a good time with our parents. |
